Nature and Forest Therapy

I am certified through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy as a Forest Therapy Guide. It’s been a wonderful way to blend a love of Spirit and Nature and to assist people in a new way.

A session is generally a slow walk fit for all ages and physical conditions. You are offered invitations which help to connect you with your senses, imagination, creativity and inner stillness. You will move, sit, observe and meditate and see what the forest and land have to offer you. The forest is your therapist, and I am your guide.

Time in nature has been proven to improve health and happiness, foster a sense of connection with the more-than-human-world, and deepen one’s sense of compassion for self and all.

As you release from the structure of the tame world, your senses open to the healing presence of the Divine that resides in nature.

Please wear clothes that suit the weather and that will enable you to feel comfortable strolling or sitting. Bring water and a light snack if you would like. Especially bring your curiosity! I wonder how the natural world will assist you? Please contact me for price and to schedule.
